WrestleMania 40 is returning to Philadelphia for the first time in 25 years - and SEPTA is helping WWE fans enter the ring by offering extra Broad Street Line and Regional Rail service. Events are taking place from April 4 through 8 at Lincoln Financial Field, the Wells Fargo Center, and the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
SEPTA is the way to go!
Located in South Philadelphia - Lincoln Financial Field and Wells Fargo Center are steps away from NRG Station [last stop] on the Broad Street Line. Bus Routes 4 & 17 can also get you there.
Trains run every 8 to 10 minutes. It takes about 11 minutes to travel from City Hall to NRG Station on a local train. Immediately following the end of the events - fans can find northbound trains waiting to provide local and express service back towards Center City and Fern Rock Transportation Center. Note - we are running extra service on the Broad Street Line BEFORE and AFTER the events! Below is the additional service that will be available on the Broad Street Line:

If you're coming from New Jersey - it's easy to transfer from PATCO to the Broad Street Line. Exit PATCO at 13th/Locust Street Station. Take the escalator or stairs to concourse level and exit PATCO's fare gates. Follow the orange signs approximately one block through the concourse to the Broad Street Line at Walnut/Locust.
Traveling to the Pennsylvania Convention Center:
SEPTA will supplement our weekend service with additional trains on the Chestnut Hill East, Fox Chase, Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown, Media/Wawa, Paoli/Thorndale, and Trenton lines. You can see a full list of the schedules HERE. All Regional Rail trains stop at Jefferson Station - which is located on the lower level of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
The Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, and Trolley lines offer frequent service - stopping at 13th Street – one block from the Pennsylvania Convention Center. In addition - Bus Routes 4, 16, 17, 23, 27, 33, 38, 44, 45, 48, 61, 78, 124 and 125 stop at or near the Convention Center.
Attendees are encouraged to load funds onto a SEPTA Key card for ease of travel.
For buses, subways, and trolleys, customers can use contactless payment options like credit/debit cards and Apple, Google, and Samsung Pay.
On Regional Rail - riders can purchase fares on the train when traveling towards the city using cash or a credit/debit card. However - for trips leaving the city - customers must purchase fares in advance to be able to access the waiting and boarding areas.
In addition to using a SEPTA Key card or paying for individual trips - SEPTA offers the following passes:
Convenience Pass (buses, subways, and trolleys): $6; good for 8 trips
Neighborhood Flex Pass (buses, subways, trolleys, and Regional Rail up to Zone 2 Stations): $10; good for 10 trips
Anywhere FleX Pass (all SEPTA modes): $13; good for 10 trips
SEPTA’s new multi-rider feature is available for travel on all modes and allows up to five passengers traveling together to pay with a single SEPTA Key card. To do this - the multi-rider option must be activated by calling (855) 567-3782 or visiting septakey.org.
Last but not lease - Kids under 12 RIDE FREE when accompanied by an adult.
