What a time to be a Philly sports fan! Not only are the Phillies in the World Series and the Eagles are undefeated - but this Sunday at 8 PM, the Philadelphia Union are taking on NYCFC in the Eastern Conference Finals at Subaru Park!
The Union haven’t lost at home all season, and the crowd is going to be in full voice for all ninety minutes of this epic showdown. If you're heading to this matchup - SEPTA is your way there!
Hop the Wilmington/Newark Line to Chester Transportation Center. If you're leaving from Suburban Station - the 5:35PM train will get you to Chester at 6:03PM. [If you're planning on tailgating with the Sons of Ben - you can catch the 3:35PM train that will get you to Chester at 4:03PM.] From there - you can hop the shuttle that will bring you directly to the stadium, giving you plenty of time to walk around the stadium, get some food, relax and get situated before the 8PM kickoff. If you're running late - you can catch a train leaving from Suburban Station at 7:35PM that will get you to Chester Transportation Center at 8:03PM.
On your way home - hop the same shuttle that brought you to the game back to Chester Transportation Center. SEPTA will be running an extra train departing from Chester Transportation Center at 11PM. It will arrive back at Suburban Station at 11:33PM.
If you're looking to head out a little early - there is a train that will be leaving Chester Transportation Center at 9:36PM that will get you back to Suburban Station at 10:09PM.
There is also the Route 37 Bus from Broad & Snyder (takes about an hour from Broad & Snyder in South Philadelphia to Chester Transportation Center) and Routes 109 (about 50 minutes) & 113 (about an hour) from 69th Street Transportation Center.
So leave the driving to SEPTA - and come out to support the blue and gold!
