Service Advisory | Market-Frankford Line

Somerset Station on the Market-Frankford Line is temporarily closed [effective March 21, 2021] while SEPTA undertakes much-needed maintenance/construction including elevators repairs.

While this work takes place, please use Allegheny Station or Huntingdon Station for travel to Frankford Transportation Center, Center City, and 69th Street Transportation Center.

You can also board Route 3 at Somerset & Kensington Avenue for service to Allegheny or Huntingdon Station. After paying your fare, request an emergency transfer from the Operator. At Allegheny or Huntingdon Station, present the emergency transfer to the cashier to access the platform. 

If you normally exit at Somerset Station, take the Market-Frankford Line to Huntingdon or Allegheny Station. Request an emergency transfer from the Cashier at Huntingdon or Allegheny before exiting the station. Board the Route 3 and present the emergency transfer to the Operator.
