Route 38 is a bus route.
Route 38 begins at 5th & Market Streets in Center City. It then moves west on Market Street and JFK Boulevard until it reaches 20th Street. From there, it travels northwest - stopping at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Zoo. It eventually reaches its terminus - or its final destination - at Wissahickon Transportation Center.
Connections at Suburban Station: Regional Rail, Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, and Bus Routes 2, 4, 16, 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 44, 48, 62, and 124, 125 as well as Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36.
Connections at Jefferson Station: Regional Rail, Market-Frankford Line, Broad-Ridge Spur, and Bus Routes 17, 23, 33, 38, 44, 47, 47M, 48, 61, and 62.
