New Regional Rail Schedules
August 18, 2023
New Regional Rail schedules begin Sunday, August 27, 2023 on ALL lines. SEPTA continues to maintain service at 75% of the pre-pandemic weekday levels.
Below are the highlights of the service changes. Please consult the schedules for complete changes.
AIRPORT LINE
Airport Line Schedule
Minor schedule changes with trains departing up to 1 to 2 minutes LATER from Glenside to Fern Rock Transportation Center en route to the airport.
CHESTNUT HILL EAST
Chestnut Hill East Schedule
Midday service reductions on the Chestnut Hill East Line to accommodate midday track work and survey work for station and bridge rehabilitation projects.
All weekday trains inbound will depart 2 to 3 minutes EARLIER at ALL stations Chestnut Hill East through Wister due to anticipated track work speed restrictions.
Trains 711, 715, 719, 8716, 708, 712, and 718 are temporarily suspended between Chestnut Hill East and Temple University for state of good repair track work. (Approximate 2-hourly service between 9 am and 3 pm).
No weekend changes.
CHESTNUT HILL WEST
Chestnut Hill West Line Schedule
Adjustments to Chestnut Hill West schedules to accommodate school travel.
Train 9814 departing Chestnut Hill West at 7:47 am will operate 17 minutes EARLIER at 7:30 am arriving Suburban Station at 8:07 am. This train will stop at Queen Lane station at 7:45 am.
Train 8716 departing Chestnut Hill West at 8:19 am is renumbered to 9816 and will operate 11 minutes EARLIER arriving Suburban Station at 8:47 am. This train will stop at Queen Lane station at 8:23 am.
Train 9803 departing Suburban Station 6:48 am will depart 22 minutes EARLIER at 6:31 am.
Train 5805 departing Suburban Station 7:10 am will depart 3 minutes EARLIER at 7:03 am.
No weekend changes.
CYNWYD

Glenside Combined Line Schedule
Train 5805 the 6:41 am Glenside departure will operate 3 minutes EARLIER at all stations arriving at Suburban Station at 7:07 am.
Train 5207 the 8:05 am departure from Glenside will depart at 8 am and operate 3 to 10 minutes EARLIER at intermediate stations. Note: This train will not stop at Jenkintown Station, arriving Suburban Station at 8:31 am.
Train 6367 the 8:04 am Jenkintown departure will depart 4 minutes EARLIER at 8 am and operate express between Jenkintown-Wyncote and Fern Rock Transportation Center, arriving at Suburban Station at 8:28 am (train will no longer stop at Melrose Park and Elkins Park).
Train 3505 the 8:30 am Jenkintown departure is renumbered to 305 and will provide additional through service to Penn Medicine Station.
Train 305 will arrive at Suburban Station at 8:58 am and Penn Medicine Station at 9:05 am.
Train 3223 the 3:52 pm West Trenton departure will operate 7 minutes LATER at all station stops and will arrive at Suburban Station at 4:30 pm.
Train 6521 the 3:05 pm departure from Glenside Station is renumbered to 3521 and extended to Penn Medicine Station and arrive at 3:42 pm.
Train 3845 the 4:40 pm Jenkintown departure will depart 1 minutes EARLIER at Jenkintown and Elkins Park arrive at Suburban Station at 5:06 pm.
Train 6599 the 5:35pm Glenside departure will operate 2 minutes LATER at all stations and arrive at Suburban Station at 6:03 pm.
Train 6483 the 6:09 pm Glenside departure is renumbered to 4383 and extended to Penn Medicine Station arriving at 6:46 pm.
Train 6543 the 10:46 pm Glenside departure will operate 53 minutes LATER at 11:40pm and arrive at Suburban Station at 12:10 am.
Train 302 the 6:15 am Suburban Station departure will operate 11 minutes EARLIER at all stops en route to West Trenton.
Train 5304 8:31 am Suburban Station departure will operate 3 minutes LATER at all scheduled stops en route to West Trenton.
Train 6478 the 1:40 pm Suburban Station departure will operate 4 minutes LATER at all stops en route to Glenside Station.
Train 6592 the 3:53 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 6520 and rescheduled 1 to 5 minutes LATER between Jenkintown-Wyncote and Lansdale.
Train 2520, the 4:16 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 3592 and will continue to provide service between Penn Medicine Station and Doylestown.
Train 2526 the 7:16 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 3526 and will continue to provide service between Penn Medicine Station and Doylestown.
Train 2530 the 9:09 pm Suburban Station departure is extended from Lansdale and will make outbound stops en route to Link Belt.
All weekend Lansdale/Doylestown inbound trains are adjusted and will operate 4 to 5 minutes LATER and arrive at Suburban Station.
All Warminster trains stopping at Warminster, Hatboro and Willow Grove Station will depart up to 3 minutes EARLIER at these stops.
All Lansdale/Doylestown weekend outbound trains are adjusted and will operate up to 3 minutes EARLIER.
All outbound Warminster and Glenside trains will stop 1 minute EARLIER at Fern Rock Transportation Center, Melrose Park, Elkins Park, and Jenkintown-Wyncote Stations and 2 minutes EARLIER, Glenside Station to Warminster Station.
LANSDALE/DOYLESTOWN
Lansdale / Doylestown Line Schedule
Adjusted and extended late evening Link Belt service.
Train 5805 the 6:14 am Lansdale departure will operate 3 minutes EARLIER at all stations.
Train 5207 the 7:11 am Doylestown departure will operate 3 to 10 minutes EARLIER at intermediate stations. Note: This train will not stop at Jenkintown Station, arriving Suburban Station at 8:31 am.
Train 6599 the 5:08 am Lansdale departure will operate 2 minutes LATER at all stations.
Train 6521 the 2:11 pm Doylestown departure is renumbered to 3521 and extended to Penn Medicine Station.
Train 5227 the 5:11 pm Doylestown departure is renumbered to 5321 and will depart 1 to 3 minutes LATER at stations Doylestown to Glenside.
Train 6543 the 10:22 pm Lansdale departure will operate 53 minutes LATER and is extended to provide late night inbound service from Link Belt, Colmar, Fortuna, and 9th Street and Lansdale Stations.
Train 6592 the 3:53 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 6520 and rescheduled 1 to 5 minutes LATER between Jenkintown-Wyncote and Lansdale.
Train 2520 the 4:16 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 3592 and has added Jenkintown as a stop and will continue to provide service between Penn Medicine Station and Doylestown.
Train 2526 the 7:16 pm Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 3526 and will continue to provide service between Penn Medicine Station and Doylestown.
Train 2530 the 9:09 pm Suburban Station departure is extended from Lansdale and will make outbound stops at 9th Street, Fortuna, Colmar and Link Belt.
All weekend inbound trains are adjusted and will operate 4 to 5 minutes LATER and arrive at Suburban Station.
All weekend outbound trains are adjusted and will operate up to 3 minutes EARLIER by timetable.
MANAYUNK/NORRISTOWN
Manayunk / Norristown Line Schedule
Train 2307 is renumbered to 2509. Please note this train no longer serves Penn Medicine Station. Passengers may transfer to LUCY bus service at William H. Gray 30th Street Station or board next train to Penn Medicine at 9:29 am.
Train 206 is extended and will serve Norristown Main Street Station and Elm Street Station.
Train 3206 the 6:52 am Suburban Station departure will operate 9 minutes LATER. This train will terminate at Norristown Transportation Center at 7:35 am and will no longer serve Main Street or Elm Street Stations.
Train 6248 the 4:29 pm Suburban Station Departure is renumbered to 220 and will operate 4 minutes EARLIER and provide service from Penn Medicine Station.
All inbound trains (except 2725) will depart up to 3 minutes LATER at stations Elm Street through Miquon.
Train 7214 the 10:46 am Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 6214 and will depart 23 minutes LATER.
MEDIA/WAWA
Train 302 the 5:33 am Media departure will operate 11 minutes EARLIER at 5:22 am arriving at Suburban Station 6:04 am and Jefferson 6:09 am.
Train 3404 the 5:41 am Wawa departure is renumbered to 3804 and will make all local stops on the Wawa Line arriving 11 minutes LATER at Suburban Station at 6:32 am.
Train 3206 the 6:01 am Media departure will operate 11 minutes LATER at 6:12 am arriving Suburban Station at 6:52 am.
Train 9366 the 6:08 am Wawa departure will operate 20 minutes LATER at 6:28 am arriving Suburban Station at 7:21 am.
Train 3218 is extended from Elwyn and will originate at Wawa Station at 12:08 pm.
Train 2307 the 8:59 am Suburban Station departure is renumbered to 305 and will operate 1 minute EARLIER at all station stops.
Train 2311 the 10:59 am Suburban Station departure is extended to Wawa Station arriving at 11:48 am.
All inbound trains will operate 2 minutes LATER at Wawa Station only.

PAOLI/THORNDALE
Paoli / Thorndale Line Schedule
Train 5304 the 7:36 am Malvern departure will operate 3 minutes LATER at 7:39 am arriving Suburban Station at 8:34 am.
Train 2547 is departing Temple 7:18 am, Jefferson 7:24 am, Suburban 7:29 am and William H. Gray 30th Street Station 7:33 am making all local stops to Bryn Mawr.
Train 9501 the 7:55 am Suburban Station departure will depart 13 minutes EARLIER and operate express from William H. Gray 30th Street Station to Bryn Mawr Station then all stops to Thorndale.
All inbound weekend trains will operate 3 minutes EARLIER.
All outbound weekend trains will operate 5 to 11 minutes LATER.
TRENTON
Train 718 the 3:05 pm Trenton departure will operate 2 minutes LATER arriving Suburban Station at 4 pm.
Train 1756 the 6:29 pm Trenton departure will operate 10 minutes LATER at all stops arriving Suburban Station at 7:32 pm.
Trains 708 and 712 through trains are renumbered to 9708 and 9712 and will terminate at Temple University Station.

Train 6483 the 6:39 pm arrival at Suburban Station is renumbered to 4383 and extended to Penn Medicine Station arriving at 6:46 pm.
Train 6481 the 7:48 am Warminster departure will add stops at Elkins Park 8:14 am and Melrose Park 8:16 am.
Train 6478 the 1:40 pm Suburban Station departure will operate 4 minutes LATER.
All weekend trains stopping at Warminster, Hatboro and Willow Grove Station will depart up to 3 minutes EARLIER at these stops.

Train 3223 the 3:10 pm West Trenton departure will operate 7 minutes LATER beginning 3:17 pm arriving Suburban Station at 4:30 pm.

Significant changes on the Wilmington Line to accommodate AMTRAK state of good repair bridge work in the Chester area, starting in mid-September. All Amtrak and SEPTA inbound Philadelphia traffic is merged to Track 2 between Marcus Hook and Darby stations.
Train 2500 the 5:56 am Newark departure will operate up to 4 minutes EARLIER between Newark and Darby Stations.
Train 9204 the 6:37 am Newark departure will depart 6 minutes LATER.
Train 2502 the 7:29 am Marcus Hook departure will depart 1 minute EARLIER at stations Marcus Hook through Sharon Hill.
