On Saturday, 4/8, more than 700 SEPTA employees and their family members and friends, along with City Year Corps members and community partners will break out the brooms, shovels, rakes and trash bags at 13 locations across the Authority as part of Mayor Kenney’s Philly Spring Clean-Up.
From 9a to 11:30a, SEPTA employees, their family members and friends and members of the City Year Corps and community groups will clean-up at 13 different SEPTA locations throughout Philadelphia, including Frankford Transportation Center; 69th Street Transportation Center; Front Street & Girard Avenue; Fern Rock Depot/Olney Transportation Center; Broad & Lehigh (North Philadelphia/North Broad Regional Rail Stations and North Philadelphia Broad Street Line Station); Southern Depot; Midvale Depot/Wayne Junction Station;Woodland Depot; Callowhill Depot; Germantown Depot; SEPTA’s 2nd & Wyoming Station; Elmwood Depot; and Wister Regional Rail Station.
This is the 10th year SEPTA employees have participated in the citywide clean-up.
Also joining SEPTA this year are State Representative Jason Dawkins and Councilwoman Maria Quiñones-Sánchez.
