Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians Audience Appreciation Day

For over a century, the Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians (POM) have been thrilled to share our artistry, both on and off the stage, with Philadelphia and the world. The Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians pledge to preserve Philadelphia's reputation as the pinnacle of classical symphonic music worldwide.
One Monday each fall, The Philadelphia Orchestra Musicians organize a Day of Music throughout the greater Philadelphia area. This year, join them on September 17, 2018 for a series of free, informal small ensemble concerts, a token of love and appreciation to the Philadelphia area community. They'll perform in schools, churches, synagogues, public plazas, libraries, retirement homes, coffee shops, and even SEPTA stations!
They hope to reach as many of people as possible with these up close and personal musical experiences, so that they can spread the joy and sense of meaning that music can bring to our lives. A complete list of performances is available here.
Lucky for us - and you! - Philadelphia Orchestra String Quartet and Clarinet Trio musicians will perform during the evening rush at both Jefferson and Suburban Stations:
Jefferson Station – String Quartet at 4:45p - 5:30p
