Okay Eagles fans. You know all about riding SEPTA. In fact we know you know every great [Super Bowl] trip starts with a train ride!! Best way to Philadelphia International Airport is the SEPTA Airport Line! Runs every 30 minutes and it stops at every terminal!
We bet you didn't know once you land, Metro Transit offers fast, frequent service between the airport, downtown Minneapolis, downtown St. Paul and Mall of America. City bus and light-rail service is available at the transit station, located on the east side of the Blue and Red parking ramps. To reach the station, follow the Ground Transportation signs to the lower level, then take the tram.
To board light rail, take the escalator down one level from the tram level and purchase a rail ticket from the machine. Continue down another escalator to the rail platform. METRO Blue Line Trains leave roughly every 10 minutes during rush hours, every 15-20 minutes at other times. Travel time is 12 minutes. More about riding the train.
To board buses, From the Ground Transportation area, follow signs for the Gold Ramp. Go up two levels to the waiting area. Bus stop is located across the pedestrian crossing from the building (look for the bus shelter).
From the airport to downtown Minneapolis - METRO Blue Line Trains serve five downtown stations: U.S. Bank Stadium, Government Plaza, Nicollet Mall, Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue and Target Field. From the airport to downtown St. Paul - Route 54 Daily service, leaving roughly every 15 minutes; travel time is about 20 minutes. NOTE: This route is on detour through 2019. Read more about the construction project.
Metro Transit is the transportation resource for the Twin Cities, offering an integrated network of buses, light rail and commuter trains as well as resources for those who carpool, vanpool, walk or bike. It added a light-rail link between downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul in mid-2014 and is developing enhanced transitways throughout the region.
Metro Transit is an operating division of the Metropolitan Council. Like transit agencies in most metropolitan areas, Metro Transit relies heavily on state and federal money to finance its operations and capital programs. About 1/3 of Metro Transit's operating budget is covered by fares and advertising revenue, the remainder comes from regional, state, federal, county and other sources (see Metro Transit's annual Factbook for additional detail).

The METRO Blue & METRO Green lines both provide access to U.S. Bank Stadium and travel along 5th Street in downtown Minneapolis.

Connect at Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue Station with routes 10, 18 or 59 for free service to Super Bowl Experience at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Look for “Free Ride” above the windshield of these buses.

Connect at Nicollet Mall Station for access to Super Bowl LIVE along Nicollet Mall.
The first thing you should do is download the Metro Transit app. It’s the only way to buy special Super Bowl passes to game-related events or the game itself. Note - You must purchase tickets on the same device you’ll use when riding. Tickets cannot be transferred between devices. Ultimate Fan Pass - $40
Grab this pass for unlimited rides 1/26 – 2/5. That’s less than $4 per day! It’s valid on all buses and trains (including Northstar), except for light-rail service from Mall of America or Stadium Village on gameday. The Ultimate Fan Pass is available only through the Metro Transit app. Unless your group will travel together at all times, each person should buy their own pass on their own device. Passes cannot be transferred and must be used on the device of the person who originally purchased the pass.
All-Day Pass - $1 - $5, varies by time of day
Not riding every day? For one low price, get an All-Day Pass for unlimited rides on buses and trains from time of purchase through 2a the next day. Buy an All-Day Pass from the app or at rail station ticket machines. The All-Day Pass is not valid on Northstar.
Gameday Fan Express Pass - $30
If you have a Super Bowl ticket, buy a special $30 Gameday Fan Express Pass. Due to security around the stadium on game day and the proximity of the stadium to the light-rail line, regular light-rail service WILL NOT operate on gameday; only those holding a Super Bowl ticket along with a Gameday Fan Express Pass will go through security checkpoints and board light rail at either Mall of America (Blue Line) or Stadium Village (Green Line) stations on 2/4. Free replacement bus service will operate on gameday instead of the Blue Line and between Stadium Village and Target Field on the Green Line. NOTE: Gameday Fan Express Passes are NOT transferable and must be used by the person who originally purchased the ticket(s). Unless your group will travel to U.S. Bank Stadium together at the same time, each person should buy their own pass on their own device. The Gameday Fan Express Pass, while active, is valid for all transit service. It is valid 2/4 through 2a on 2/6. Quantities for Gameday Fan Express passes are limited. Buy your pass now and don’t miss out on the easiest way to get to the game!

Many downtown bus routes will be disrupted 1/26 - 2/5. Check out this map for planned detours. For further updates, look for signs at bus stops or sign up to receive Rider Alerts by text or email at metrotransit.org/rider-alerts.
Starting on Friday evening (2/2), METRO light-rail trains will serve all points in downtown Minneapolis, with the exception of U.S. Bank Stadium Station. This includes service to the nearby Government Plaza Station. From Friday evening and into gameday, U.S. Bank Stadium Station will be closed due to security issues. During this time, customers can continue to ride light rail from end to end without the use of replacement buses.
Metro Transit will supplement its bus service on local routes and some express routes to accommodate travel to and from downtown Minneapolis. Learn more about additional service on buses, trains and Northstar.

In addition, Metro Transit will operate weekend buses from Park & Ride lots throughout the metro. Service will run roughly every 30 minutes starting at 9:30a from suburban locations; last bus from downtown leaves at 10. This service operates on 1/27, 1/28 and 2/3 only. Buses drop off and pick up customers at the Leamington Transit Center at 11th St. S. and 2nd Ave. S. in downtown Minneapolis. The fare is $2.50 each way (EXACT CHANGE ONLY) or use an All-Day Pass or Ultimate Fan Pass.
Due to security around the stadium on game day and the proximity of the stadium to the light-rail line, regular light-rail service WILL NOT operate on gameday; only those holding an official Super Bowl LII ticket, along with a Gameday Fan Express Pass will go through security checkpoints and board light-rail at either Mall of America (Blue Line) or Stadium Village (Green Line) stations on February 4, 2018. Green Line service will operate normally between Stadium Village and Union Depot stations on gameday.
For non-game-ticket holders, buses will replace light-rail trains on the entirety of the Blue Line throughout the day on 2/4. Free replacement buses will operate between Target Field Station and Stadium Village Station on the Green Line. Buses run on similar schedules to trains but can take longer; please plan accordingly.
