Big news! The brand new parking garage at Lansdale Station opens Monday, April 17!!
The Lansdale Parking Garage, located at 101 West Main Street, is a signature initiative of SEPTA's Rebuilding the System program. This new, precast concrete parking structure, built on the site of the existing surface parking lot at Lansdale Station will increase parking capacity by 305 spaces. Included in the work are improvements to the station's Main Street entrance. A pedestrian overpass will provide a direct connection to the Madison Avenue Transit Oriented Development (TOD) project [still to come]. This project is the result of close coordination between SEPTA, PennDOT, and the Borough of Lansdale.
Construction started in Summer 2015. The budget was $42.1M.
To celebrate the opening, SEPTA will offer an introductory promotion with FREE parking Monday, April 17 through Sunday, June 18!
The new, multi-level structure garage, will be open 7 days a week. It will have 680 spaces and will provide covered vehicle parking and a complimentary tire inflation station to help customers save on fuel consumption and ensure safe travels. In addition to the garage, the 118 spaces in the daily fee surface lot at Lansdale Station will also be available for parking.
Join us Friday, April 21 at 10:30am for the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!
Please note, the temporary parking lot at 9th Street Station and the Pennbrook Station temporary parking (former Merck lot) will CLOSE at the end of the service day on Friday, April 21, 2017. There will still be 78 permanent Daily parking spaces at the Lansdale Parking Authority Lot at 9th Street Station.
