Holiday Shopping 2018

December 6, 2018

Additional Service for Holiday Shoppers

Ho ho how much shopping do you have left, ISEPTAPHILLYers?

Fret not. We also can’t believe it’s already December (is it really?!), but even if your gift list is still lengthier than you’d like, take solace in the fact that we live in a city where you can cover all of your shopping ground on public transportation. And when you leave the driving to SEPTA, you can sit back and relax, check your list (twice) or get some online shopping done while you're on the road. You can't do that when you're behind the wheel!

All ISEPTAPHILLYers know that we have the second biggest mall in America just a few miles down the Schuylkill River. But did you know that SEPTA offers extra trips on the Route 123 and Route 99, both of which run to/from the King of Prussia Transit Center during the holidays? We understand how shopping works. And how much time you need to get the most out of KOP’s 400+ stores.

Bonus: if you shop in all sections of the mall, you can skip the gym (this is definitely cardio).

There's more. There's added service on Bus Routes 94 and 96 which both serve the Montgomery Mall; and Routes 98 and 99 which serve the Plymouth Meeting Mall.

Holiday Shopping in Bucks County

You can also shop till you drop at the Oxford Valley Mall and the Neshaminy Mall in Bucks County. The Oxford Valley Mall is served by the following SEPTA Bus Routes: 14127128, and 129. The Neshaminy Mall is served by the following SEPTA Bus Routes: the Boulevard Direct and Routes 1458128, and 130

The Boulevard Direct is an enhancement to Route 14 service, which continues to operate along Roosevelt Boulevard. Not only can you get all of your shopping done at these two malls in Bucks County -  but you can also get your photos with Santa Claus! Both malls feature holiday photos with the jolly one.

For more information about shopping in Bucks County, make sure to follow our friends @tmabucks and the hashtag #ISEPTABUCKS on Twitter as we highlight Bucks County destinations and events that are served by SEPTA.

You've got Perks!

You already know your SEPTA Key can get you to the mall to shop. But did you know it can get you discounts and deals too? That’s right! Your SEPTA Key (or your TrailPass, TransPass, One Day Independence Pass, or SEPTA Employee ID) gets you Perks at all types of different stores perfect for holiday gifts. Not sure where to start? Here are some of our suggestions:
