Last week - SEPTA’s Board approved Operating and Capital Budget proposals for Fiscal Year 2024 - advancing plans to fund everyday operations, major improvement projects, and two new FARE ENHANCEMENTS to not only help to encourage more ridership but to help YOU GO FARTHER!
Effective July 1, 2023 - SEPTA Key cardholders receive a second FREE TRANSFER. A transfer is when a rider takes a single one-way trip on transit and then changes to a different transit line or service within two hours of that trip. Both free transfers must be taken within two hours of your first tap. Transfers do not apply to Regional Rail trips. But for those riders that do use a mix of transit and Regional Rail...
Effective July 1, 2023 - a weekly and monthly TransPass includes all Zone 1, Airport Line, and Center City stations! Twenty-four stations!
The TransPass+ works exactly like a Zone 1 TrailPass. It is valid weekdays on Regional Rail for travel to/from all stations located within the geographic boundaries of the City of Philadelphia and Center City Philadelphia (CCP) Stations on non-peak trains. It becomes an Anywhere Pass on weekends and holidays.
These two additions make travel on SEPTA more convenient and affordable and the WAY TO GO FARTHER FOR LESS!
