New schedules for SEPTA's City and Suburban Transit divisions go into effect Sunday, September 3, Monday, September 4, and Tuesday, September 5.
The good news is, most of the timetable adjustments are minor and designed to account for seasonal changes in ridership and to improve customer service. However, SEPTA would like to alert passengers to the following service changes:
Labor Day Service: ALL Bus and Trolley Routes will operate on a Sunday schedule on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2017
Route 15: Trolleys will return to service on Girard Ave. following the completion of a track reconstruction project.
Route 114: Westbound Penn State trips will now offer service to Fair Acres Geriatric Center ONLY upon verbal request to the operator. All Eastbound trips operating from Penn State will serve Fair Acres Geriatric Center.
Route 132: Buses will now provide service in Hilltown.
Route G: Revised trips for early morning Saturday service.
While timetables for some routes will go unchanged, passengers on all routes are encouraged to access updated schedules for their routes. New schedules are available at SEPTA customer locations and online.
Riders can also access real-time service information by using the official SEPTA App, which is available as a free download for both Apple and Android devices. Any questions, call 215-580-7800 or leave a comment below.
