Engineering can be defined as the use of scientific principles to design and build machines, structures, and other items, including bridges, tunnels, roads, vehicles, and buildings. The world wouldn’t be what is today if it wasn’t for the brilliant minds of engineers throughout history. Some famous engineers include Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, and Elon Musk.
There are currently more than 200 engineers employed here at SEPTA. SEPTA offers an array of engineering positions for current and future candidates to apply to from Bus Engineers to Senior Project Engineers.
