SEPTA is inviting the public to ask questions, submit comments and learn during a pair of Energy Action Plan open houses to be held on Tuesday, 11/7 from 11a to 1p and on Tuesday, 11/21 from 11a to 1p and 5:30p to 7p.
Each open house will be held on the third floor auditorium at SEPTA Headquarters, 1234 Market Street, in Philadelphia.
In addition to the in-person sessions, the information displayed at the open houses will be available now through 12/4, so that participants who are unable to attend an open house in person will have the opportunity to provide feedback. A link to the comment portal is available here.
SEPTA’s draft Energy Action Plan represents the second-generation of a plan originally published in 2012. The plan has been key to implementation of SEPTA’s award-winning Sustainability Program, SEP-TAINABLE. The draft second-generation plan summarizes outcomes to-date and proposes new areas of focus, such as facility energy efficiency projects, introduction of new low and no-emission buses and renewable energy.
