Make the SEPTA to Shore Connection with NJT

Did you know you can get to the shore and back from Philadelphia or South Jersey with one ticket and no hassle for $30? NJ TRANSIT Wildwood Express, Route 316, will be operating through Labor Day (September 5th) between Philadelphia, Wildwood, and Cape May. Round trip promotional tickets are priced at $30.00 to Wildwood and $33.00 to Cape May. Route 316 operates daily, so be sure to check out NJ TRANSIT’s website to schedule your trip.
Route 316 serves 30th Street Station which allows for easy connections with Amtrak and SEPTA services, providing an effortless journey with minimal stops from SEPTA to the Shore. Access 30th Street Station from SEPTA’s Market-Frankford Line, Bus Route 9, 30, 31, 44, 62, 124, 125, LUCY, or Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 34, 36. Once at 30th Street Station, walk to JFK Boulevard to catch NJ TRANSIT Route 316 from the Bus Terminal.
While in Wildwood, there is always something to see and do, day and night, for young and old. The legendary boardwalk includes three amusement piers with over 100 rides and attractions featuring world-class roller coasters and beachfront waterparks. The main attraction here is Morey’s Piers. This seaside pier with rooftop bars, waterparks, amusement parks, restaurants, live music and keeps both kids and adults entertained. Other hotspots on the island offer jet skiing, parasailing, wave running, surfing, and speedboat rentals. At night, Wildwood becomes the place for adult fun with dance clubs, Irish pubs, lounges, and sports bars.
When you get to Cape May which yes, is technically on the Jersey Shore, you’ll find it’s the antithesis of most things Wildwood. Instead of night clubs and amusement piers, you’ll find a famous lighthouse and Victorian mansions. Cape May’s rich history is evident in this Victorian architecture. It includes award-winning beaches that draw in visitors from around the world. If you want a break from the beach, head to the Cape May County Park & Zoo. Or check out The Cape May Lighthouse, built in 1859 that offers beautiful beach views from the 157ft tower.
Round-trip promotional tickets can be purchased at Philadelphia 30th Street Station (TVMs) or Wildwood Terminal and are good for up to 10 days from and including the date of sale. Bus operators are not able to issue these promotional tickets on the bus. Regularly priced one-way and round-trip tickets are also available and do not have expiration date
