Our Route of the Week for this week is the SEPTA Route K. SEPTA’s Route K is one of seven letter Bus Routes within the SEPTA system. The K travels between Arrott Transportation Center and Ridge & Midvale Avenues in East Falls. The Route K was created from portions of the Route 52 streetcar.
On a typical weekday SEPTA’s Route K carries 7,680 passengers and takes 179 trips that each span 10 miles. SEPTA’s Route K is an easy way to connect with Regional Rail. This Route connects with six different stations, including East Falls Station and Washington Lane Station. This Bus Route also connects with the Market-Frankford Line at Arrott Transportation Center.
