This week, we’re shining a spotlight on SEPTA’s Route 98! This route operates in Montgomery County, runnning between the Plymouth Meeting Mall and Norristown Transportation Center. The Route 98 was established on March 7, 1977 as a replacement for the Route L's service to Norristown.
From start to finish, the Route 98 covers about 8.5 miles. On a typical weekday, this route carries 1,502 passengers and travels 1,482 miles. The Route 98 services one of SEPTA’s major transportation hubs, Norristown Transportation Center. Here, riders can connect with the Manayunk/Norristown Line, the Norristown High Speed Line, or seven other bus routes. On the opposite end of its route at the Plymouth Meeting Mall, the Route 98 connects five different bus routes.
Whether you’re headed to the mall, connecting to another mode, or just trying to get around Montco, hop the Route 98 and let SEPTA do the driving!
