New Regional Rail Schedules

The January schedule change expands on the weekday adjustments made in December 2016 and focuses on addressing congestion, the continued implementation of Positive Train Control, and train run times. Saturday and Sunday service will operate as currently scheduled.

As part of the Authority's business commitment to follow sustainability practices, we continue to look for ways to sensibly conserve resources. Within this context, the close timing of the schedule changes planned for the initial phase of our Regional Rail Service Improvement Program - December 11, January 29, and April 9 - made us think about the best way to be fiscally and environmentally responsible while still being responsive to your need for information. So we are taking a different approach for the January 29 schedule change by not be printing paper timetables. This gives us an opportunity to introduce/reintroduce Regional Rail customers to all of the other options we offer to get schedule and service information. Paper timetables will be available for the April schedule change, but we are hoping that you'll find one or more of the choices described below will become your preferred method to connect with our schedule information.

PDF versions of the timetables are available to view below. You can also check this page the day of the schedule change for the latest PDF version of the schedule.

At stations, look for the large format schedule posters with the January timetable information as well as notices highlighting the changes going into effect on your Line. The Passenger Services desks at our Center City Stations (A & B Section at Jefferson Station; across from the Ticket Office at Suburban Station; at Mezzanine Level at 30th Street Station) will also have copies of the schedule information and they can answer your travel questions.

Here's a snapshot of what's changing along with links to the new schedules:

Airport Line

Airport Line PDF Schedule

Train #404 (departing Airport Terminals E & F at 5:37 a.m.) will no longer stop at Wayne Junction, Fern Rock, and Melrose Park Stations

Train #448 (departing Terminals E & F at 4:37 p.m.) will no longer stop at Wayne Junction, Fern Rock, Melrose, and Elkins Park Stations. This train will depart 4 minutes EARLIER at Jenkintown-Wyncote and 3 minutes EARLIER at Glenside.

Chestnut Hill East Line

Select trains will operate up to 8 minutes LATER. Please refer to the timetable for specific train times.

Train #7327 will depart Chestnut Hill East at 8:03 a.m., 2 minutes EARLIER at all stations

Train #746 will depart 30th Street at 3:21 p.m., 2 minutes EARLIER at 30th Street, Suburban, Jefferson, and Temple University Stations

Train #776 will depart 30th Street at 10:22 p.m., 2 minutes EARLIER at all stations

Chestnut Hill West Line

Train #835 will depart Temple University Station [headed to CHW] at 3:42 p.m., 1 minute EARLIER at all stations

Cynwyd Line

Train #1060 will depart Cynwyd at 8:30 a.m., 3 minutes LATER

Train #1062 will depart Cynwyd at 9:20 a.m., 16 minutes LATER

Train #1057 will depart Suburban at 7:10 a.m., 4 minutes LATER

Train #1061 will depart Suburban Station at 8:40 a.m., 10 minutes LATER

Fox Chase Line

Select trains will operate 1-2 minutes LATER than previously scheduled. Customers should review the timetable for complete service information.

Train #826 will depart 30th Street at 10:25 a.m., 1 minute EARLIER at all stations

Glenside Combined

Lansdale/Doylestown Line

Select trains will operate later than previously scheduled. Customers should review the timetable for complete service information.

Trains departing between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. will operate as D Stop Trains between Delaware Valley University and Chalfont Stations

ADDED SERVICE TO ELKINS PARK: Train #5315 (departing Colmar at 6:10 a.m.) will now stop at Elkins Park Station (6:53 a.m.)

ADDED SERVICE TO LINK BELT: Trains #6517 (departing Doylestown at 7:58 a.m.) and #521 (departing Doylestown at 8:52 a.m.) will stop at Link Belt station

Train #6517 will depart Doylestown at 7:58 a.m., 3 minutes EARLIER at all stations through Chalfont, with flag stop service at Link Belt (8:15 a.m.)

CHANGE IN SERVICE: Train #519 will originate at Lansdale Station (8:48 a.m.) and will no longer stop at Link Belt, Colmar, Fortuna, and 9th St. Station

Train #573 (departing Colmar at 5:23 p.m.) will no longer stop at Melrose Park or Wayne Junction Stations. This train will depart 4 minutes LATER at all stations

Train #514 will depart 30th Street at 5:56 a.m., 6 minutes EARLIER at all stations

Train #6506 (departing 30th Street at 6:50 a.m.) will operate 1 minute EARLIER at Lansdale through Doylestown Stations

Train #586 (departing 30th Street at 7:15 p.m.) will not stop at Melrose Park or Elkins Park Stations

Manayunk/Norristown Line

Select trains will operate LATER than previously scheduled. Customers should refer to the timetable for specific train times.

ADDED SERVICE TO ELM STREET: Train #6212 (departing 30th Street at 5:41 a.m.) will now stop at Elm Street (6:32 a.m.)

CHANGE IN SERVICE: Train #3224 (departing 30th Street at 7:30 a.m.) will not stop at North Broad Station

Media/Elwyn Line
