Did you know that it's National Haiku Writing Month????
...we didn't either, ISEPTAPHILLYers.
But that's okay! Because while time waits for no man, we think that haikus, well, are a little more patient.
So even though we missed NaHaiWriMo's Kickoff Carnival (there was a kickoff carnival, right?), we figured there was no time like the present to begin our SEPTA haikus .

So what is it about SEPTA that speaks to you? Do you find beauty in derelict abandoned stations? Do you like the quiet rumbling of the underground? Do you prefer being elevated above West Philly, or catching connecting buses to all corners of our metropolis, or riding the [Regional] Rails out to our region's sprawl?
There's poetry in everything. And in 2,184 square miles of SEPTA's service region and 400,000 average weekday riders, that poetry is endless.
So tell us - what about our system speaks to you? What is your SEPTA haiku?
