Our Guide to Philadelphia’s Three Greenest Events

March 31, 2017

As a transit-enthusiast, living sustainably is probably something that you think about every day. Celebrate your commitment with SEPTA and our partner Clean Air Council! Each year Philadelphia’s Clean Air Council organizes 3 great events: The Run for Clean Air, Greenfest Philly, and Dine Out for the Environment. Each event provides a unique and fun way to support local environmental issues, learn how to live sustainably, and have a great time. Take SEPTA to each event and we’ll see you there!

For the Foodie: Dine Out for the Environment

Thursday, October 12, 2017 - All Day - Participating Restaurants Across the Philadelphia Region

Now in its fourth year, Dine Out for the Environment gives haven to Philadelphia’s hungry environmentalists and eco-compassionates alike with a list of restaurants that are in line with their green values. Clean Air Council has partnered with many of the area’s sustainable restaurants, and the different ways they’re minimizing their impact on the environment may surprise you. Participating restaurants donate anywhere from 15%-30% of their sales for the day to the Clean Air Council to help fund the Council’s work on air quality issues. Visit dineoutforthenvironment.org for a list of participating restaurants.
