Each year Philadelphia’s Clean Air Council organizes 3 great events: The Run for Clean Air, Greenfest Philly, and Dine Out for the Environment. Each event provides a unique and fun way to support local environmental issues, learn how to live sustainably, and have a great time. Take SEPTA to each event and we’ll see you there!
For the Fitness Fan: Run for Clean Air
Sunday, April 9, 2017 - 7:30 a.m. - MLK Drive next to the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Clean Air Council’s Run for Clean Air presented by Toyota Hybrids is a spring race that thousands of runners put on their to-do list. With the PHLY 10K run, 5K run, 3K walk, and Kids’ Fun Run, there is an event for every age and level of fitness. Best of all, this race is is Philadelphia’s largest Earth Day celebration and all proceeds support Clean Air Council’s mission - protecting everyone’s right to breathe clean air. For the Family: Greenfest Philly

What do edible bugs, outdoor yoga, live music, and vegan cooking demos have in common? You can find them all (and much more!) at Greenfest Philly - Philadelphia’s largest environmental festival. With over 150 exhibitors and vendors (including SEPTA), Greenfest is the place to learn about living sustainably while having fun! For the Foodie: Dine Out for the Environment
Thursday, October 12, 2017 - All Day - Participating Restaurants Across the Philadelphia Region
Now in its fourth year, Dine Out for the Environment gives haven to Philadelphia’s hungry environmentalists and eco-compassionates alike with a list of restaurants that are in line with their green values. Clean Air Council has partnered with many of the area’s sustainable restaurants, and the different ways they’re minimizing their impact on the environment may surprise you. Participating restaurants donate anywhere from 15%-30% of their sales for the day to the Clean Air Council to help fund the Council’s work on air quality issues.
